Basically a mini college convention Dan and I attend. Went last year, and went this year. For panels that were interesting there was How to Make a Manga where a manga/comic artist on DA talked about how she goes about making her manga, lots of tips and tricks and such. I got her DA and shall now stalk/watch her lol. Another cool panel was Good Anime Gone Back where they talked of anime that have started sucking. Oh Yugioh what have they done to you. Conan, STOP BEING A KID already and grow up. Naruto... well you ended so whatever. Then as always there was the Brony Panel of course. What's to say about that? PONIES PONIES PONIES SWAG? Yes!
Then we hit up the dealers room and I got more swag~
Ren / Reverie Metherlence from Elemental Gelade
Ein & Ed from Cowboy Bebop
2 Books by an author that intend to read and review. He writes his books as a mixture of Science Fiction and Fantasy, right up my alley~
Okay, so also. The author and I got talking. After I bought his books he asked me what types of books I read, fiction types, etc. So I explained the books I read which went into talking about Tolkein and Stephen King and how those two authors don't make just one world, they make entire Multiverses where every book they write is somehow connected in the same alternatie universes of their Multiverse. Like in Stephen King It the Clown is somehow related to The Dead Zone, and so many others. This talk went to Multiverses in general and then I brought up Shatteredverse and how we tried to make our own Multiverse, he asked me if I was a writer, I said roleplayer, then went into explanation on how roleplaying works and how we all have like over 10 characters on the roleplay because we have to write the world and characters ourselves. He was fascinated by it and asked for the link! He said he'd share it to his son and others~ So that was awesome.
Then Friday night we had a hotel and invited over Gaserlake and PlungerInABox to play monopoly all night. I dominated the first game and Gaserlake's roommate won the second game.

A project in the works: Artist Social Media Site
Right, so as my last journal said I'm still dead here with all the changes that have happened other than the occasional upload or checkup on people I know here. However! It is exactly those changes that DA made that I am posting this journal now. Quite basically, I want to fill the gap DA left. This has been an off and on project for a year now, with more progress this year. We now have a name (ArtGrue) a list of features we want to see, somewhat of a team (though we could always use more coders since people are busy) and more progress I don't want to discuss yet, but will be out soon. But mainly, I have an idea that fixes the exposure issue that Twitter and other art sites artists escaped too suffers. The issue where smaller artists are not seen over the popularity contest that most sites end up being. A way to give more incentive to seek out smaller artists, and that's the main goal of the site other than just giving a social media community and art gallery site for
Well.... Bye?
Yeah uhhh so the only reason I still paid for Core at this time was so I didn't have to use Eclipse. Now not only is the search feature broke as hell (no more sorting by categories to easily find tutorials and stock?) Everything else is just ugly, broken, and I'm not dealing with it. Find me at any of these as I listed all my social media accounts. https://spacephoenix.carrd.co/
Places to Find Me When DA is 'Dead'
So... as you can probably see I don't post on DA as much anymore. This is because I usually save it for 'good work' or things I deem viewable. My sketches, doodles, and stuff hardly every make it here unless it's a path of improvement. Just a standard I kinda set.
But I do have Twitter and now Instagram for the sketchdumps.

Just giving a heads up.
Thanks.
So uhh shot in the dark...
So… um I don’t usually like asking for money, especially from strangers due to the stigma around it. But, as someone who has loved cartoons since a child and still does, and has RPd to the point of having years of story in their head wanting to bring it to life…
I recently applied to Don Bluth’s University, and got accepted. While I’ve been self teaching myself art, and animation, I know there’s still things I can’t learn myself, without years and years (I’m 29 already). And this course offers a year and the chance to be taught by Don Bluth himself, someone who might not be around much longer gi
